Bara D. Coulibaly
Founder and Executive Director
When humans experience neglect or forgetfulness that leads to serious trauma or stressors, it is not uncommon for their lives to deteriorate. “
Bara Coulibaly is a dedicated altruist for the human cause. She believes in the equality of lives. For her, the life of a fisherman has the same value as that of a President of the republic, the life of a rural is worth living as much as that of a city dweller. Developing country governments tend to favor the health system of large cities over rural areas.
Her love for others led Bara to create Safe Hospitals for Africa, a non-profit organization, which goal is to reduce maternal and infant mortality rate, and reduce the risk of infectious disease transmission in rural hospitals in Côte d’Ivoire, and eventually throughout Africa.
Bara Coulibaly currently works for the Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care, Drugs and Devices Division, for the province of Ontario. Prior to joining the Ministry of Health, Bara worked for more than 10 years in the financial sector, specifically life and medical insurance and investments. Bara has an Undergraduate Degree in Logistics from Côte d’Ivoire and a Master’s Degree in Business Administration obtained at Ecole Supérieure de Communication et de Gestion in Belgium.
