Alexis Sekongo is passionate about culture. He is a cultural promoter, radio host, and is the Founder and the Executive Director of “Le Balafon Du Nord”, a non-profit organization which aim is to revitalize the African tradition, the bedrock of our development, and also to promote local artists. 

Alexis Sekongo is also the Director of the International Festival called “Le Festival International du Senang” (The International Festival of Senang), which brings together at each edition, thousands of participants from several countries of the sub-region that share the same culture, the same traditions. The main objective of the Festival is to fraternize, socialize and interact and exchange knowledge with our peers from neighboring countries namely Mali, Burkina Faso, Ghana and Guinea. His passion and dedication at work has earned him the title of “Commissaire Géneral du Senang” (General Commissioner of the Senang Festival), a title awarded by the Minister of Culture. 

On August 06, 2019, Alexis Sékongo received The Outstanding Achievement Award for the best promoter of African integration, from the President of Côte d’Ivoire, Alexis was particularly congratulated for the exemplarity of his work and his contribution to the well-being of the people of Côte d’Ivoire. 

His love for others, his determination and especially his extensive knowledge of the Senufo tradition, have carved out a place for him among the population. Alexis is a great, gifted communicator, known and cherished by the public, which makes him the ideal partner for the realization and success of our project.
