Managing Director - Warrington International Inc.

Peter J. Dawes is Managing Director of Warrington International Inc. a federally constituted corporation which was formed as a consultancy in the mid-seventies to respond to the needs of Canadian and foreign firms seeking to expand their operations into international markets.

Mr. Dawes has over fifty years of experience in international business and trade, has held a number of senior board and advisory appointments in both the public and private sector and remains active in several business and non-profit organizations, including:

Past President of the Belgian Canadian Chamber of Commerce, Chairman of the Canada-Indonesia Business Council.  Mr. Dawes has also been a Director of a mining company and the financier and founding Director of UTEX Scientific Instruments in Mississauga. 

For his voluntary work, Mr. Dawes has been awarded the Volunteer Award by the Government of Ontario. 

Mr. Dawes has also written extensively on various aspects of international trade and has been published in several Canadian and US publications.

Mr. Dawes is also the Honorary Consul of the Republic of Cote d’Ivoire in Toronto, a post he has held for the last thirty years and is presently the longest serving member of the Toronto Consular Corps.
